Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple

In the evening, after sunset, our representative will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor and transfer you to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex for the Sound and Light Show.

The experience begins with a walking tour through the temple grounds. As you pass along the Avenue of Sphinxes, through the grand courtyards, and into the impressive Hypostyle Hall, the voices of ancient pharaohs narrate the story of Thebes and the rulers who contributed to the construction of Karnak over more than two millennia. You will hear about famous pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Queen Hatshepsut, as well as the gods they honored.

In the second part of the show, you will be seated overlooking the Sacred Lake, where the temples are beautifully illuminated while the story of ancient Egypt continues through sound and light effects.

Please note that the ground inside the Karnak complex is uneven, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

After the show ends, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.
