Private Felucca Ride on the Nile in Luxor

In the late afternoon, our representative will pick you up from your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor and transfer you to the Nile’s edge, where your traditional felucca will be waiting.

Step aboard the boat and relax on comfortable cushions as your captain sets sail along the peaceful waters of the Nile. Enjoy the gentle breeze and admire the scenery as you glide past traditional villages, green farmlands, and palm-lined riverbanks. Along the way, you may see children playing in the water, farmers working in their fields, water buffalo, and a variety of birds.

Your felucca will sail toward Banana Island, a small island covered with banana plantations. Here, you will step ashore for a short visit, where you can enjoy a cup of traditional Egyptian tea and taste fresh, locally grown bananas.

After your visit, return to the felucca and continue sailing as the sun slowly sets over the West Bank of Luxor, painting the sky with warm colors and creating a truly memorable experience. At the end of your ride, you will be transferred back to your hotel or Nile Cruise.
